Summer Institute supports and addresses the timely need for educators to meet the Ethnic Studies high school graduation requirement in California. Through this 5-day institute, K-12 educators will gain theoretical and practical knowledge from award-winning UCSB faculty in Asian American, Black, Chicana/o, Feminist Studies, and Education Studies. Participants will also work closely with community members doing Ethnic Studies work to best meet the demands of the state, districts, and most importantly, our students.

Registration for the 2024 Summer Institute is now open!

We are also happy to share that this year's Summer Institute is FREE. Space is limited. Register by June 7, 2024 by clicking the flyer.
